The Pump

Protected cable entry
The cable entry is cast longitudinally watertight so that water cannot penetrate the motor housing through porous cable surfaces. Otherwise, capillary action within the cable would pump moisture into the pump.

Selve ventilation
Once installed, the shaft can dry out due to evaporation of the water. This causes air to enter the pump hydraulics, which prevents the pump from starting. The air can escape through the ventilation hole and enables reliable pumping of the U3K.
Flushing sytem
During pump operation, the easy-to-open flushing holes generate a sharp jet of water onto the bottom of the chamber which loosens deposits (grease, fat, etc.) and conveys them out of the chamber. This results in a clean pump chamber that also significantly reduces odor.
